Learn◊Grow at Rotary International Convention in New Orleans
Many of the 20,000 Rotarians attending the Rotary International Convention in New Orleans in May 2011 took the opportunity to meet members of the Learn◊Grow team and discover more about the project at the Learn◊Grow Booth in the House of Friendship over the five days of the Convention.
Publications and documents from Learn◊Grow programs for Solomon Islands, Timor Leste, Nigeria and Swaziland were on display.
It was also the first opportunity to demonstrate a β version of the upgraded Food Plants International database which has significantly enhanced search functionality and easy extraction of information on food plants for countries and regions around the world.
FOOD PLANT SOLUTIONS Rotarian Action Group launch
The newly accredited Food Plant Solutions Rotarian Action Group that has been established to support the Learn◊Grow team was formally launched during the New Orleans Convention.
